a short film produced by 313 film production from a project by gruppo nanou, Alfredo Pirri, Bruno Dorella

concept: Marco Valerio Amico and Giulio Boato
cinematography: Giulio Boato and Laura Accardo

Paradiso is a collective project developed by the contemporary dance company gruppo nanou, in collaboration with artist Alfredo Pirri and musician Bruno Dorella. The short film, commisioned by gruppo nanou, doesn’t intend to explain the work, but to accompany the viewer through a flow, translating the theatrical experience into video. It is the “story in images and sound of a place crossed by dance, light, matter and humanity”. Through the game of mirrors of Pirri’s installation, the film restores the set of concentric circles of the dance, freely inspired by Dante’s work.

Paradiso was presented out of competition at the 39th Torino Film Festival.
