Laura Belloni

Laura Belloni (Rome, 1987) is a producer and event organizer. She graduated in Literature from Rome University in 2009 and later earned a Master’s Degree in Journalistic Criticism. 

She has been active in the field of cultural production since 2009, working with theatres, festivals, companies and artists on projects, shows and films – from concept to realization. After gaining experience as event organizer, communication manager and assistant director for artists and companies, she created “Sciapò” together with Domenico Santo, a theatre festival that took place from 2014 to 2016 over 2 Italian regions and in 8 cities. From 2014 to 2020 she worked with PAV – an independent organization for theatre promotion and production – on the conception, production, communication and promotion of several projects. Among the most prestigious is Fabulamundi Playwriting Europe, a European project for the circulation of contemporary dramaturgy and a three-time beneficiary of European Commission funds. Her first involvement with this was to hold the position of communication manager and then project manager, starting from the large-scale 2017 edition (carried out in 10 European countries). Her duties included supervising the activities of 15 partners, general communication for the project as well as handling the European Commission’s administrative report. In 2021 she started her collaboration as organizer for the Italian theatre company Frosini/Timpano.

In 2016 she met Boato and Danesin with whom she began to blend cinematographic language with the worlds of theatre and performance. Together with them she developed hybrid projects such as L’uomo che cammina (Official Competition at FIFA in Montreal, Canada), Trenodia (from a performance by Mariangela and Vinicio Capossela for Matera European Capital of Culture) and Theatre Insights (a hybrid film between fiction and documentary about the European project Fabulamundi).

In 2021 she founded 313 with Boato and Danesin, and currently holds the position of CEO and Producer.
